Saskatchewan Fieldworkers
Who We Are
Amnesty International (AI) fieldworkers are experienced Amnesty members trained to inspire,
support and teach people inside and outside of Amnesty about important human rights work.
They are knowledgeable, committed AI volunteers who support individuals, groups and networks
by sharing experiences and information, acting as resource people and inspiration to more
important work.
What Fieldworkers Do
Fieldworkers have three important roles:
- Information Provider: Fieldworkers have information on current Amnesty issues,
actions, resources, Branch decisions -they can find what you're looking for!
- Supporter: Fieldworkers support members in our work for human rights by
encouraging new and innovative action for human rights through workshops and community
events. Fieldworkers are also involved in supporting members and groups in their community or region.
- Personal Contact: Fieldworkers are the human face of Amnesty; they bridge the gap
between our National Branch (Amnesty Canada) and individual
members or groups.
